Welcome to Long Valley Basketball! This site is home for all information about the Long Valley Basketball Association as well as registration for all levels.
Signups will open September 1st and will close on October 31st. Any player registering after October 31st is not guaranteed a spot on a team and will incur a $25 late fee (per family).
If you are looking for winter employment opportunities, you can consider being a Youth Basketball Official, or a Youth Timekeeper for LVBA Recreational Basketball Games this winter (games are mostly on Saturdays starting in January 2019).

You can do it on your phone, and should take less than 5 minutes to complete. Games last an hour. Youth Officials are paid $20/game and Timekeepers are paid $10/game. Officials need to be in grades 9-12, Timekeepers can be in grades 8-12.

We are very excited about the Toys for Tots Basketball Showcase scheduled for Saturday December 15, 2018 at the John M. Reeves Gymnasium at Centenary University. The quality of talent and competitive match-ups should provide a great day of basketball. The main purpose for the event is to collect as many donations for the Toys for Tots as possible for the upcoming holiday season.

1:00 PM – Wallkill Valley- Boys (white) vs. Sussex Tech- Boys (dark)
2:45 PM – Voorhees- Boys (white) vs. West Morris Central- Boys (dark)
4:30 PM – Hackettstown- Girls (white) vs. Belvidere- Girls (dark)
6:15 PM – Hackettstown- Boys (white) vs. Jefferson- Boys (dark)
Donations of unwrapped toys will be collected at the doors on the day of the showcase. This will allow fans and supporters the chance to pitch in on the act of kindness.
Admission for everybody is $5. Tickets are valid for all games that day
Our Clinics are designed for second and third graders where they can learn the fundamental skills of the game in a fun, instructional setting. The Clinic will introduce the rules of the game, build overall motor skills, dribbling, shooting, passing and defensive basics. The Clinic will meet once per week. Registration opens in September but please join our Facebook Group and watch for further announcements
Our Recreation (Rec) Level is for kids in 4th-8th Grade. Practices are generally once a week with Games on a Saturday / Sunday. Please join our Facebook Group to keep informed about Registration and other Level news

The purpose of the LVBA travel basketball program is to give players the opportunity to play basketball at a higher level in order to develop their basketball skills and knowledge of the game. Tryouts will take place in October.
There will be one travel basketball team for each age group and gender.
